Facebook has recently allowed business pages to convert to the new timeline format which means cover photos! I designed a few new options for my own page as well as designs for my friend Heather and my little brother Mark. I had to create a new logo for Mark at the same time but if you know him at all you'll see how much it fits.
Today was a day where I got to dive back into my design roots and play a little bit. I designed logos, FB profile photos and business cards for two local stylists today.
After much consideration I've finally decided it's time for a name change. SnappyTrails Photography will now be called Rachel Vos Photography! I'm so thankful for all of my amazing supporters over the years and I hope you all will continue to follow me through this transition. I would be beyond grateful if you'd 'like' my new Facebook page as well since my delicate ego will be saying goodbye to all the 'likes' on my old page soon.
P.S. If you're curious why I've used a fox in my new logo it's because my last name "Vos" is Dutch for "fox". It doesn't hurt that it's a really cool critter either. I sketched it tonight just for this project. She's not perfect but I kind of like that. It was fun to flex my design muscles again since I was afraid they'd atrophied from the lack of use over the last several years. Also, I'm my own worst design client and I normally never know what I want. Somehow it all came together in just minutes. I love it when a plan comes together!
I finally got around to designing birth announcements for the girls! They'll be included with Christmas cards this year so shoot me your address if you'd like to receive one.
