Personal ~ The Twinkles' First Birthday Party pt.1

The girls turned one this week!! Daddy (Jamie) made their cakes and cupcakes and mommy (me) decorated them. We decided that will be our annual birthday tradition. I created the cake toppers and butterfly garlands also. The high chairs were found at garage sales and I painted them with spray paint.
When it came time to do the traditional first birthday "cake smash" the girls very carefully leaned forward and took bites of the frosting. Maybe next year they'll actually eat some of the cake too. There were a few tears at the end but I think they were just a little overwhelmed with all the people watching them. Be sure to check out part two of this post for more photos from their party!

    1. Thanks! The paint I used was Krylon indoor/outdoor gloss spray paint in Blue Ocean Breeze. http://www.krylon.com/products/indooroutdoor_paint/ I think it took me about three cans per chair.
